My son Jake is a fan of anything that rolls. For his fourth birthday, he wanted a monster truck party.
We decided our main colors would be green and brown. We alternated plates, napkins, and cups in these two colors. His invitations were handmade using 5 X 7 card stock cut into the shape of Grave Digger.
His cake is an 11 x 14 sheet cake. The sides were iced green, and the top iced in a homemade light chocolate. The ramps are pound cakes cut into the correct shapes and also iced light brown. We then spread crushed graham crackers onto the chocolate icing to look like dirt. I added cars in between the ramps for the trucks to “crush” I then bought two of his favorite monster trucks and attached American flags onto the backs of them. I piped his name in his favorite color….red. Added candles, and done!
For his favors we used green favor bags, and filled them with monster truck tatoos, pencils, erasers, and bouncy balls. Everyone had a great time!
