Jonah’s 1st birthday party was celebrated with a Jungle Baby theme! We had the party at his Godmother’s house and it was so great because her pool and patio area look so tropical!
We decorated with adorable jungle baby first birthday plates, napkins and cups, we put soft plush jungle animals for the centerpiece on the main table, jungle baby decorations around the backyard, an animal print table cloth for the gift table, candy for the kids to take, many fun colored balloons, and a fun blow up monkey and tropical bird.
Jonah wore his Birthday Boy t-shirt which looked so cute!
We had lots of fun with decorations including a big “Happy 1st Birthday” Jungle Baby banner and a “It’s Fun to be One” beach ball.
We had Jungle party music in the background to set the mood!
We had a barbeque with hamburgers and hot dogs, potato salad, mixed green salad, watermelon carved like a basket fruit salad, chips and all kinds of drinks.
Jonah had a Jungle Baby 1st birthday cake made by mama!
It was banana cake filled with banana pudding/mixed with icing for the center, it was moist and delicious and great with vanilla ice cream! The cake had jungle baby animals on it and a waterfall with palm trees made of fondant.
We decorated his high chair in Jungle Baby decorations and gave him his first birthday hat which he actually wore for a few minutes and then he loved diving in for his first taste of cake!
We had so much fun with the kids swimming, we gave out little Jungle Baby goodie bags filled with sunglasses, bubbles, animal crackers, jungle animal blow horns, jungle animal stickers, candy and other fun stuff. We then had fun with his adorable baby blue elephant pull piñata which he pulled and made all the candy come down! Our wonderful friends even sang the piñata birthday song in Spanish which made it even more special!
As with all parties what made is so special was celebrating the greatest gift of our lives… Jonah, with our wonderful family and friends!
Love this! Where did you find such cute animals for the cake? Thanks! I’ve looked everywhere.
