My sweet girlie wanted a Candyland birthday party and we pulled out all the stops. Candy doubled as decor, snacks and party favors. The colors were bright and festive. Additional decorations included candy topiary, candy wreaths, banners and colorful balloons.
Children received a lollipop shaped invitation and arrived to a wagon load of Candy Land fun.
Upon entering our home, aka The Candy Shop, they got to make candy necklaces of licorice, fruit loops and gummy rings. We handed out candy cards to play a Candymaker Rules game (similar to Simon Says) and we then sang “Happy Birthday.”
Cotton Candy replaced ice cream in cones, and everyone got to fill their Sweet Tote with goodies from the Candy Buffet!
